How many people can you accommodate for a corporate group?

We can host groups from 10 up to 84 guests across both properties — Hotel Die Arlbergerin (up to 66 beds) and Pension Der Steinbock (up to 30 guests, exclusively bookable as a whole house). For larger leadership retreats or incentive trips that need full privacy, we can arrange exclusive use of either property or both combined. Just tell us your group size and we'll find the right setup.

What's the minimum stay for a corporate group booking?

For group bookings we generally recommend a minimum of 3 nights to make the trip worthwhile — enough time for the mountain, a team dinner or two, and some proper downtime. For exclusive whole-house bookings at the Pension Der Steinbock, we ask for a minimum of 7 nights. If your schedule is tight, get in touch — we're flexible where we can be.

Do you organise the activities, or is that on us?

We don't run the activities ourselves, but we know exactly who does — and we connect you with the right people. Ski schools, mountain guides, rafting operators, canyoning, e-bike tours, night tobogganing — we've worked with the best local providers in St. Anton for years and can recommend, coordinate and help you build a full programme. You don't need to start from scratch.

Can you accommodate mixed groups — some skiers, some non-skiers?

Absolutely, and it's more common than you'd think. St. Anton works brilliantly for mixed-ability and mixed-interest groups. Non-skiers have spa access at the Arlberg Wellcom, winter walks, snowshoeing tours and the village itself to explore. Beginners can join the ski school on the Gampen beginner slopes. Nobody gets left behind — and everyone has something to talk about over dinner.

Is group dining included, or is that extra?

Breakfast is included with every stay. For evening dining, we offer optional half-board for groups — a set dinner each night at Das Stüberl, our restaurant — which is the most popular choice for company trips because it keeps the team together and removes the daily "where are we eating?" decision. We also offer group dinner bookings on a per-night basis if you'd prefer flexibility. Dietary requirements and allergies are always accommodated — just let us know in advance.

How far in advance do we need to book?

For winter (December–March), we recommend booking at least 4–6 months ahead — peak weeks like Christmas, New Year and Fasching fill up fast. Summer is more flexible, but good dates go quickly too. That said, if you have a last-minute window, always ask. We occasionally have availability that isn't listed anywhere. One email is all it takes.

Can we book the whole hotel exclusively for our company?

Yes — and it's one of the things we do particularly well. Hotel Die Arlbergerin can be booked exclusively for larger groups. Pension Der Steinbock is exclusively bookable as a whole house for up to 30 guests. Exclusive use means no other guests, no shared spaces, complete privacy — your own alpine home for the duration of your stay. It's the format most leadership retreats and incentive groups choose.

What does the booking process look like — how do we get a quote?

Barbara or the team will come back to you personally within 24 hours with a tailored proposal covering accommodation, dining options, activity suggestions and pricing. No automated replies, no sales pipeline. Just a real conversation. From there, we confirm, handle the rooming list and take care of the logistics together.

Is St. Anton easy to get to for international groups?

Easier than most alpine destinations, yes. St. Anton sits directly on Austria's main rail corridor — there are direct train connections from Germany every Saturday in winter (including high-speed services from Munich), and regular connections from Innsbruck, Zurich and beyond. For UK and US groups, Innsbruck Airport (1 hour away) has charter and direct flights in winter season. Many groups also fly into Munich or Zurich and take the train directly. No car needed.

What's the difference between the Hotel and the Pension — which is right for our group?

Hotel Die Arlbergerin is our 4-star adults-friendly property — design rooms, a full restaurant, bar, and the more polished experience. It's ideal for incentive trips, corporate rewards and groups that want comfort and atmosphere. Pension Der Steinbock is our B&B-style guesthouse — more relaxed, bookable as a complete private house, perfect for teams that want their own space without other guests around. Both properties are a short walk apart, so some groups split across both. We'll recommend the right fit based on your group size and vibe.
