A clear starting point

What is the difference between a group stay and a full hotel buyout?

A group stay reserves rooms. A full buyout reserves the accommodation and hospitality areas agreed for your group. Some groups need a private house. Others want the entire hotel to themselves. Larger gatherings may need both houses together.

Every buyout is agreed in writing. Your proposal sets out the rooms, private areas, dining, group needs, access by third parties and services for your dates.

What does exclusive use include?

Exclusive needs a clear definition. We agree the details before you confirm, not after you arrive.

01

Accommodation

Rooms, guest count and rooming assumptions

02

Private areas

With a hotel full buyout, the hotel building and breakfast are exclusively for your group. Other private, shared, optional or excluded areas are confirmed in the proposal.

03

Dining and service

Both restaurant Stuben are exclusively reserved for your set-menu dinner of up to 57 guests, subject to the agreed layout. Bar & Bistro can be requested as an additional exclusive evening space for a separately quoted charge. This does not increase the confirmed 57-guest set-menu dinner capacity.

04

Group time

Meeting needs, shared space, schedule and logistics

05

Outside access

Any relevant access by external guests or visitors

For group organisers

How your ski trip works on the ground.

Travel, ski days and group evenings need to fit together. This is the practical starting point. Your written proposal confirms the arrangements for your dates.

01

Arrive by rail

St Anton is a Railjet station with seven daily direct connections each from Vienna and Zurich. The hotel is 1.2 km from the station.

02

Plan airport arrivals

Innsbruck, Zurich and Munich are practical gateways. Share flight times in your enquiry and we will clarify the right shuttle or taxi set-up for your group.

03

Start at the Nassereinbahn

The lift is 700 m from the hotel, around 8 to 10 minutes on foot. It keeps the first ski run of the day simple.

04

Use the ski bus at the door

Rafalt stop is directly in front of the hotel. In winter, the ski bus from the hotel runs every 15 minutes and is free between St Christoph and Flirsch, including St Anton and St Jakob.

05

Keep kit ready for tomorrow

The hotel has a ski room with a boot dryer. Your proposal confirms the equipment-storage arrangement for the set-up you choose.

06

Give the day one rhythm

Arrival windows, rooming, breakfast, mountain time and your group dinner can be planned as one shared schedule, confirmed in writing before arrival.

Tell us your travel route, group size and ski-trip priorities. We will clarify what fits your dates before you book.

Dining room prepared for a group dinner at Die Arlbergerin in St Anton

Dinner for the full buyout

One group. One table. The whole evening is yours.

End the day together at a table prepared only for the people you brought to St Anton. With a hotel full buyout, the restaurant is exclusively yours for the agreed group dinner, with no other diners sharing the evening.

Exclusive dining, shaped to your group

The smaller Stube seats 24 guests and the larger Stube seats 33. Together, both restaurant Stuben are reserved exclusively for a set-menu dinner of up to 57 guests, depending on the agreed layout. The Bistro seats 20.

24

Small Stube

33

Large Stube

57

Both Stuben, set-menu dinner

20

Bistro

Bar & Bistro as a private evening space. If you would like the Bar & Bistro exclusively for your group as well, request it as an additional evening space. We quote the surcharge separately in your proposal. This does not increase the confirmed set-menu dinner capacity of 57 across the two restaurant Stuben.

For groups of 58 to 93: start with the dinner count. Sleeping guests and dinner guests can differ. Tell us how many people should dine together, whether you need one shared service and what kind of evening you have in mind. We check any arrangement beyond the confirmed capacities for your dates and confirm what works in writing.

Plan the evening clearly

A shared evening works best when the timing is agreed.

An exclusive group dinner is the reliable anchor after a mountain day. Add any wider programme early, so the plan works for your guests and the house.

18:30

Restaurant opens

Restaurant Die Arlbergerin is open daily from 18:30 for your agreed group dinner.

20:30

Kitchen closes

Confirm your preferred dinner rhythm and menu service in the written proposal.

23:00

Quiet hours begin

Plan the in-house evening with this house rule in mind.

On request

Hut evening, DJ or another external programme

These are not included automatically. They are separately requested, seasonal and subject to availability.

St Anton, in motion

Between the mountain days, there is space to breathe.

Summer group buyouts in St Anton

Bring people together for a week that moves something forward.

Run a residential workshop, a guided retreat, a team offsite or a learning programme from one private alpine base. You set the purpose and pace. We make the stay easy to plan.

01

Learning programmes and workshops

Create uninterrupted time to learn, make and discuss. Share your dates, group size and goals, then we shape the stay around them.

02

Retreats and wellbeing weeks

Give guests a slower rhythm between guided sessions, shared meals and time in the mountain air.

03

Team offsites with room to reset

Move important conversations out of the office. Balance working time, mountain time and shared dinners in one coordinated stay.

04

Private groups with time to reconnect

Bring family, friends or club members together without giving up the space of separate rooms and a shared base.

Tell us your dates, group size and what brings you together. We will check availability and prepare a clear proposal covering rooms, dining and the agreed scope.

For finance and legal approval

A Full Buyout proposal your internal team can approve.

The decision needs more than a room count. Your proposal shows the accommodation price including breakfast, then dining, drinks, tourist tax and agreed additions clearly alongside the agreed scope, commercial milestones and cancellation terms.

01

What is included

Property choice, rooming assumptions, the accommodation price including breakfast, private areas, dining scope and any agreed third-party arrangements.

02

Payment schedule

50% of the accommodation price is due within 60 days of contract signature. 25% of the accommodation price is non-refundable. The balance is due 30 days before arrival.

03

Cancellation milestones

Up to 180 days: 25%. 179 to 120 days: 50%. 119 to 60 days: 80%. From 59 days before arrival: 100% of the accommodation price.

The accommodation price includes breakfast. Meals, drinks and tourist tax are excluded from the cancellation calculation. A reduction in room numbers is treated as a partial cancellation under the same milestones. The signed Full Buyout agreement confirms the terms that apply to your dates and scope.

Different groups, one clear route

Built for the way your group travels.

Start with your dates and group size. We will help you assess the right private setup.

01

Ski clubs and friends

A shared base for ski days, long breakfasts and evenings together.

02

Families and generations

Keep people close while giving everyone their own room.

03

Share your rooming and work requirements, then choose the right scope.

04

Incentives and client groups

Use St Anton as your alpine setting with the privacy your group needs.

05

Private celebrations

Define accommodation, dining and private spaces before the offer is prepared.

06

Start with your group size. We will guide you to the suitable option.

A private group stay is made of the shared plan and the individual moments around it. Your team can come back from the mountain to its own rooms, table and evening rhythm.

Off-site venue

Need a professional meeting space? We recommend MICE St Anton.

Die Arlbergerin does not have a dedicated meeting room in the hotel. For formal sessions, breakouts or a larger event, MICE St Anton offers professional venues in the village centre.

MICE St Anton confirms venue availability, technical set-up and its venue agreement directly with you. We separately confirm your accommodation, dining and agreed private hotel scope.

16

MICE rooms and event spaces across five venues in the centre of St Anton.

10 to 2,000+

Two clear partners, one well-planned stay.

Winter

A private base for mountain days.

Hiking, biking, fresh air and space to reconnect make summer a strong setting for teams, families and friends.

Tell us what matters. We will prepare the right proposal.

Share the basics

Dates, group size, country of travel and occasion are enough to begin.

Yes. Pension Der Steinbock can be reserved as a private whole-house rental. It has 14 rooms for up to 30 guests and works especially well for families, friends, ski clubs and smaller retreats.

Can our group have breakfast and dinner during a full buyout?

With a hotel full buyout, the hotel building and breakfast are exclusively for your group. When both houses are part of the buyout, breakfast is served from two buffets, one in each house. For dinner, both restaurant Stuben are reserved exclusively for a set-menu dinner of up to 57 guests, depending on the agreed layout. Bar & Bistro can be requested as an additional exclusive evening space and is quoted separately. Your proposal confirms the menu, dietary requirements and service times.

What does exclusive use include?

With a hotel full buyout, the hotel building and breakfast are exclusively for your group. In the evening, both restaurant Stuben are reserved exclusively for your set-menu dinner of up to 57 guests. Bar & Bistro can also be made exclusive on request for an additional charge. Your proposal then clearly states the accommodation, dining, common areas, facilities, services and time periods that are private, shared, optional or excluded.

Can we combine both properties?

Yes. The hotel and pension together provide 42 rooms for up to 93 guests, subject to the agreed rooming plan and availability. It is the right starting point when your group needs more bedrooms and one coordinated stay.

How close are the ski lift and ski bus for our group?

The Nassereinbahn lift is 700 metres from the hotel and takes around 8 to 10 minutes on foot. The Rafalt stop is directly in front of the hotel, and the winter ski bus runs every 15 minutes. Your proposal can include the group arrival and daily ski routine you have in mind.

Yes. The hotel has a ski room with a boot dryer, so your group has one practical place to store equipment after the day on the mountain. The exact group setup is confirmed with your stay plan.

A shared set-menu dinner can be arranged exclusively across the small and large Stube for up to 57 guests, depending on the agreed layout. Bar & Bistro can be reserved exclusively on request as an additional evening space, quoted separately. It does not increase the confirmed 57-guest set-menu dinner capacity. For dinner groups of 58 to 93 guests, tell us the dinner headcount and the format you need. We confirm what works for your dates in writing.

What do you need to prepare a Full Buyout proposal?

For groups that need more than the hotel’s up-to-63-guest setup, both neighbouring houses can be considered together. They offer 42 rooms for up to 93 guests, subject to a confirmed rooming plan and availability.

Your dates. Your group. Your scope.
