An evening that tastes like autumn

Martini Gansl is the Austrian goose dinner tradition around St Martin’s Day. On Friday, 13 November and Saturday, 14 November, Roswitha serves it in the Restaurant Die Arlbergerin: crisp roast goose, red cabbage, chestnuts and a filled baked apple.

The table is set for a long autumn evening. Come for the Gansl, stay for the conversation and perhaps an Affogato at the end.

FROM ROSWITHA’S KITCHEN

Roswitha’s kitchen

Roswitha has been cooking in this kitchen long enough to know that this dish does not need reinventing. The goose comes from the region. The sides stay classic. Everything else is about taking the time for a proper dinner.

That is the spirit of Martini Gansl at Die Arlbergerin: honest cooking, a warm table and an unhurried evening in St. Anton.
