After 40 successful years of operation, the 3-seater chair lift was removed from the Arlenmähdern on the Schindlergrat (Schindlergratbahn) after the end of the winter season 2018/19. A state-of-the-art monocable gondola with 68 gondolas, each with space for up to ten people, will replace the previous facility.

The new Gondola will take its exit about 30 m south of the previous base station; This shift creates a convenient connection to the existing ski slopes for the guests. Completely new and extremely attractive options, the new lift also offers on the mountain:
With basically the same route as before, is built at the place where the mountain station of the 3-seater chairlift was, an intermediate exit point, which allows guests on the cable car to leave at this point and use the offer of departures from here. If you do not want to get off at the intermediate station but want to continue, you continue for about 420 m in a diagonal direction in a northeasterly direction to the new mountain station location.
This is located near the exit point of the Valluga ski lift. Here is an extremely attractive entry to the ski area, directly in either the ski slopes Schindlergrat, Mattun or Valfagehr. With the new lift, which will have a production capacity of 2,800, the company is once again setting a milestone, guaranteeing limitless skiing enjoyment in the Valluga area.
